Background Screening Process

USAH Policy mandates that all member participants who are required to be screened, do so thru an approved vendor and such screen shall be valid for a period of two (2) years.  A list of persons who have passed a screening from an approved vendor  shall be listed on the affiliate web with either the start date or expiration date of the screening period included.

Please note that on the application for a background check, you will be asked to select the position/role that you will be filling within the Missouri Hockey Family.  It is very important that the correct position/role is selected during this process so that the chance of a registration validation issue is minimal. Please utilize the chart below to help you make your selection.

Important things to know if you are REDLINED on a roster.

A redlined coach can only occur if the screening process has not been completed and passed or after Dec 31, you have not attended the required certification clinic. In order to have the redline for screening removed, you must provide Deb Hellwig your cleared results email.

Your registrar can not add you to a roster unless you have a current year USAH registration number, completed the Safe Sport training/refresher course and completed the online age-specific module(s) required for the age level that you will be coaching.
